ABOUT US

Our Story

Founded in 2005, Fallingwater has grown to be a leading and well-respected landscape management company serving southern Vancouver Island. We are proud of our long-term close working relationships with residential homeowners, strata properties and commercial developers, and currently maintain over 150 acres of property, including 750 Pandora, Dockside Green, Capital Park and the Selkirk Waterfront.

After serving over 100 strata properties, we understand the unique challenges that strata councils and property managers face. Our goal is to make the landscape management process easy, efficient and cost effective, and our approach is tried and true. It includes the ongoing assessment of needs, preferences and enhancement goals, weekly progress reports, a reappraisal three months prior to the strata’s AGM, and a single point of contact for clear communications.

The residential properties we serve are horticulturally diverse and require a high level of maintenance, knowledge and expertise.

Our two divisions – landscape maintenance/enhancement and design/build – work seamlessly together to ensure budgets are respected and projects are completed on schedule. We also have considerable experience working on historic sites and heritage restoration projects, an intricate process that requires great care and attention.

Our Team

When you choose a landscape management company, you are also choosing the people behind it. The Fallingwater team is comprised of horticultural experts and service-oriented professionals who have a strong work ethic and passion for working outdoors.

Continuous learning and improvement are part of our company culture. In addition to comprehensive in-house training and supplemental programs, we offer full education scholarships in landscape horticulture for those who wish to stay and grow with the company. 100% of our supervisor team are registered apprentices in the ITA Red Seal Program at Victoria’s Pacific Horticulture College

Paul Grey
Maintenance & Education Manager

As the first point of contact with new strata clients, I lay the groundwork and pave the way to long-standing relationships by taking the time to really listen to their needs and ideas. I am equally passionate about ensuring that our crews are properly trained and get opportunities to hone their skills. The best thing about working with Fallingwater is that it doesn’t feel like work. I really love what I do. There's always something new and fresh to learn in horticulture, and being surrounded by great people every day is a bonus!

Michelle
Office Manager

My role balances a number of processes, both behind the scenes and front of house. Setting up meetings, scheduling projects, invoicing – I do it all. I am also a client’s first introduction to the company and assist with general inquires. Whatever I don't have an answer for, I will happily connect them with one of our department managers. I love being a part of a team that is so dedicated to doing their best, and who show up rain or shine with a smile on their face.

Supervisors

Our goal is to make your property look as good as possible. As the team leader on site, we always have a plan in place. We make sure plants stay healthy, priorities are addressed, and that everything is perfect before we finish up for the day. We also check in weekly to adjust priorities as needed. Our greatest reward is seeing the sites we've taken care of for years look better and better each year.

Fallingwater Team

Our company culture is one of togetherness and growth. Always looking to improve, we are committed to continued learning and are supportive of each other. Everyone is passionate about horticulture and customer service, and dedicated to doing their very best. We treat clients like family and take care of every property as if it were our own. The joy we have in what we do colours our conversations with clients, and we like to think that it adds a bit of joy to their day as well.
